About This Artwork

When my family moved near to the picturesque bay area town of Los Gatos, I was delighted to discover a high school that fully measures up to my nostalgic memories of school days. I wanted to capture the drama of dawn light, when the glorious old school building seems to shimmer with anticipation. With its sweeping lawns and cobbled walkways, flanked by palm trees, stately oaks, and mighty redwoods, Los Gatos High School is a California landmark that represents, for its students, the timeless value of education.
