Brian Rood is a professional illustrator best known for his photo-realistic watercolor and mixed media paintings from the Star Wars™ saga. For over two decades, he has collaborated with Lucasfilm and Disney, creating fine art that brings the galaxy far, far away to life. His work spans canvas paintings, gallery-quality fine art reproductions, and illustrated storybooks. Among his achievements are more than 1,000 illustrations for the most comprehensive retelling of the Star Wars™ trilogies, as well as a feature in a special Star Wars™ anniversary edition of Time Magazine.

Brian’s artwork has been commissioned by nearly every major Star Wars™ licensor, and he also contributes to Lucasfilm’s style guides. Beyond Star Wars™, his fine art for Disney and Marvel has become a staple at Disney Parks for over a decade.
